The space was constructed in 1898 as the" Hauf Brau House Restaurant", a sophisticated turn of the century meeting place for the high society of New Haven, its original owner imported the finest marbles, mahogany and crystals from Bavarian manufacturers. When we acquired the space its grand history had seen its better days, we painstakingly went to work creating a modern nightclub while preserving its elegant past. In 1999, "Backers", a elegant men's tailor shoppe relocated and left the first floor of the building vacant, we took this opportunity to ad a first floor bar and lounge, again we went through great detail designing and creating the perfect turn of the century look to accent the lower level that was already created. In the main level we added a luxurious lobby, a huge marble and mahogany bar and various antiques and abundant comfortable seating, add marble columns and a few chandeliers and the ever so welcoming marble lounge was created. In 2000 it was a new century and what better way to celebrate than by adding yet another level to this already impressive facility. Work began to create an elegant third floor with gleaming hardwood floors, a state-of-the-art sound and lighting system with a stage for the wide variety of artists we import  and another lounge area for patrons to escape the hustle and bustle if they choose.

At this time it made more sense to take one of the levels and devote it strictly to after-hours dancing and socializing, therefore giving our patrons the choice of when they wanted to leave rather than just throw them out on the street. The new after-hours space was dubbed OZ After Hours Club, which is New Havens only dance facility open late night.

The creation of this new Club and the existing Gotham Citi Cafe and our at large events at other venues presented a need for a new name to tie all the identities together. We decided on Titan Entertainment Complex to re dub our now 21,000 square foot facility, completely renovated and updated as late as 2008, it is a sight to behold. It is the largest facility of its kind in the state and rivals other super clubs in many large cities. It has endured the test of time as it enters its 14th year of business, almost unheard of in the nightclub world. Yet its clientele continues to increase and the facility continues to expand and improve its condition.

New for 2009 will be the opening of a new dining room, a different, more modern, Miami look will highlight the lighter more neveau cusisine. It will serve dishes with local produce and the highest grade beefs and chickens available.
